A big thanks to Lonnie Webster for taking all these great shots of the band at the Mountainhome show.

After the show with Jeff Moretz
At last year's Mountainhome show, Jeff brought the Ramblers a real treasure - a bootleg CD of a 1981 Red Clay Ramblers show at the Down Home, Johnson City TN.   The Ramblers ended that set with spectacular version of the Bill Hicks classic "You Were Only F******" (Red Clay Ramblers fans will know about that one) with Joe "Tank" Leach singing lead.
 Priceless.

Next stop was a park bench with the sunshine sound of a high school steel drum band in the background.

Click on the poster of "Select Musicians" of North Carolina at left, and, If you have really good eyes, you'll see the Red Clay Ramblers listed at the top of the 7th column.  The poster and some of those Ramblers were together in the choir room of the Blowing Rock school before the show. Wow.
